To work with the design team, in successfully repairing and restoring the fabric of this Historic and Iconic building. It was important to carry out the full restoration process, within budget and time constraints, whilst recognising the need for minimal disruption to the residents and staff of the estate.

  • The highly specialised designing, erecting and dismantling of significant elevation and chimney scaffolding, allowing access to carry out the following works.
  • Stone replacement.
  • Repointing
  • Descaling
  • Repair and restoration of timber windows
  • Timber preservation works to roof structures
  • Re-decoration of windows
  • Overhaul and repair of roof slating
  • Stripping and replacement of architectural lead work

This project was successfully concluded on program and on budget. It was a privilege for the whole team at Restorex to work on such an historic building in an incredibly picturesque location. It was a pleasure working alongside the Architectural team who we found were to bring extensive specialist knowledge. Also, the client, who had an instrumental role in sensitively repairing this wonderful building.
